What is 3M™ DI-NOC™?
MADE IN JAPAN, 3M™ DI-NOC™ is a high-end vinyl from 3M™. The vinyl can be installed on almost any surface, regardless of the curvature. There are unlimited applications, from the interior of your car to the back of your laptop.
3M™ DI-NOC™ gives a dry carbon look. Contrary to initial belief, carbon fiber DI-NOC™ is not just a printed carbon fiber pattern, but in fact has a three-dimensional texture to it. This allows it to reflect light the same way that real carbon fiber would, making it the best real-world alternative to carbon fiber when you just want the look without paying the high cost of real Carbon Fiber.
Matte Look:
3M DI-NOC has a matte texture contrary to the usual glossy carbon fiber look. Make your vehicle stand out from the crowd with this unique look.
3D Texture:
3M DI-NOC has an actual texture to it. That's what makes it better than all of the other carbon fiber films out there. It looks like real Carbon Fiber from any angle.
Indoor and outdoor:
3M™ DI-NOC™ can be used both indoors and outdoors. The material has been tested to last about 3-4 years outdoors and 12 years indoors. It is also Water resistant.
Can be applied to almost any surface:
3M™ DI-NOC™ film has been tested to adhere to wood, mortar, stone, metal, glass, plastic, and even itself. Carbon you hood, interior trim, engine components and more!
Easy to use:
3M™ DI-NOC™ films have 3M™ Comply adhesive air release channels for fast, easy, and virtually bubble-free application.
Self-adhesive back with 3M™ Comply adhesive for great adhesion to most surfaces. Enhance the adhesion by warming the material with a hair dryer or heat gun.

NOTE: DI-NOC finishes may be removable, but it is also possible that it may damage the surface underneath. DI-NOC should generally be considered a permanent application.
NOTE: While the adhesive on the back of this material is quite strong, 3M recommends the use of 'Primer 94' to increase the adhesion of the DI-NOC to your surface, especially for overlays with tight edges or pieces that will be exposed to high heat. Primer 94 is a light bonding primer that you brush on the edges, corners, and uneven surfaces of your substrate. Since Primer 94 is considered a hazardous material by shipping companies, we are unable to sell this primer through our website. Primer 94 is available at most local sign shops. While we expect this to be a very uncommon problem, 3M requires that that all claims due to the material not adhering to your surface should be submitted along with the proof of purchase of Primer 94 from your local store.
